Think about what you like to do. An enjoyable workout can be anything that gets your body moving. Do you like the outdoors? Try skiing, swimming or cycling. Do you like a challenge? Sign up for a boot camp class at your local gym.

This is also a great time to try something new. How about rock climbing or weight lifting? An enjoyable workout is one that will make you feel great after you are done. You are more likely to stick to your exercise program if you are having fun.

You want to make sure that you balance your exercise routine with cardiovascular training, strength conditioning and stretching. Aim to train 3-4 times a week for about 60 minutes. Don't have enough time for that? No problem, you can break up your exercise so you are doing 10 minutes bouts. This is great for a beginner or someone with a busy schedule.

When you find something that you like to do you will realize that exercises do not need to be tedious and repetitive? Many people fail to reach their fitness goal be cause they have allowed themselves to be put of an exercise regime that they despise. Don't be one of those people. If you have a personal training - speak up! Let them know your likes and dislikes. You will be happy that you did and look forward to your daily fitness routine.
