If you are looking to get started on a super weight training program it is a good idea to visit your doctor and have a complete physical. This will ensure that all of your body's systems are in working order. This includes a healthy heart, liver and kidneys. Once you know that you are in great physical condition, you can choose your program.

Beginner weight training programs should involve minimal equipment with one exercise for each major muscle group. Start with 2 sets of each exercise of 10-12 repetitions. Make sure that you rest a least a minute between sets. After 4 weeks, you can progress up to 3 sets of each exercise. To get the most benefit from this type of program, you will also have to follow a strict diet to get the results that you would like.
